Contract Agreement for Outside Storage

 

This agreement is made and executed this _____ day of __________, 2____ by and between Don Ray, Acres Aweigh, and the owner of the boat, motor home, trailer and/or recreational vehicle described hereto (Hereinafter “Vehicle”).   Owner desires to store said vehicle on the premises of Acres Aweigh until at least ____________________.  Acres Aweigh must be notified, in writing, 14 days prior to the owner removing the vehicle from the premises.   

In consideration of storage payment, Acres Aweigh agrees to store the vehicle as described in this agreement.  Contact Don Ray for storage rates.  Owners with an Annual contract have the option to make payments in annual, semi-annual or quarterly increments.  Owners with Short term and Seasonal contacts must be paid in full at time of initial contract.  A $40.00 deposit will be collected at time of initial contract. The deposit will be returned to owner only upon proper written notification of owner prior to removing the vehicle from the premises. 

Acres Aweigh sends invoices to owners on a quarterly basis.  An invoice will be sent if storage rental is due anytime during the upcoming quarter.  Payments are due on or before the first of each quarter (January, April, July, October).  Acres Aweigh will send payment invoices until written notice is received.  There are no refunds.  Acres Aweigh has the right to change storage rates at any time.  There is a $35.00 charge for any NSF checks.  Acres Aweigh may charge a late fee for any late payments.  Owner will be charged for storage rental until written notification has been submitted to Acres Aweigh that owner no longer plans on renting the storage space.   All storage charges must be paid in full before the vehicle is removed from Acres Aweigh property.  Acres Aweigh shall have the right to retain possession of the vehicle until all charges and cost incurred under this contract agreement are paid in full.   Acres Aweigh has the option to have the vehicle towed from the premises at the vehicle owner’s expense if storage payment is not made.

Access to vehicle is available 24 hours weekdays and weekends by combination.  This storage agreement covers outside storage and only the rental space sufficient to store one vehicle per space. Vehicle owner releases all claims against Acres Aweigh property owner(s), representatives, agents and employees from any and all damage or loss to vehicle or its contents, including, but not limited to, theft, vandalism, fire, windstorm, flood, hail, tornado, weathering, acts causing personal injury, and any other injury or damages while vehicle is stored at Acres Aweigh beyond the control of Acres Aweigh.  Acres Aweigh property will not be plowed for snow removal, so moving of vehicle during winter months will be at vehicle owners own risk.  This storage agreement does not include storage insurance.  The owner shall be responsible for insuring the vehicle and its contents while stored at Acres Aweigh. 

The following conditions need to be followed:
1. Notify Acres Aweigh of any change of address, phone number, ownership of vehicle or any other pertinent information.
2. Park vehicle only in the numbered space/lot assigned by Acres Aweigh.
3. Vehicle must be in working order and with no flat tires while stored at Acres Aweigh.
4. Vehicle must be lawfully licensed and titled at all times while stored at Acres Aweigh.
5. Do not discard trash on the property of Acres Aweigh.
6. A WRITTEN NOTICE must be provided at least 14 days prior to departure from premises in order to obtain the deposit refund made at time of initial contract.

By signing below, the vehicle owner has read this storage contract agreement and understands that storing the vehicle at Acres Aweigh is at his/her own risk.
